It releases timed mist cycles automatically and is always on. Fogging is a service where a technician comes to your property on a scheduled basis and manually treats the entire yard with a fogger. Fogging is generally more flexible, covers a wider area including deep foliage penetration, and doesn't require any permanent installation. For properties where an automated system isn't practical — rentals, properties with complex landscaping, or homeowners who prefer service-based solutions — fogging plus In2Care is often the better fit. This is a common and understandable concern. The odor lure in In2Care stations targets egg-laying female mosquitoes that are already in the surrounding environment — it doesn't pull mosquitoes in from a wider area. The lure is designed to attract mosquitoes that would otherwise deposit eggs in other water sources on your property (which happens naturally anyway). By intercepting them at the station and contaminating them, you're actually reducing the total egg-laying activity on your property and spreading a larvicide to the other breeding sites they visit. The net effect is a significant reduction in mosquito populations, not an increase.
