Why Ongoing Treatment Matters Here

If you've ever tried a one-time spray and watched pests return within weeks, you already know: Florida doesn't give your home a break. The same climate that makes this state beautiful makes it a year-round paradise for insects and rodents. Here's why consistent, recurring treatment isn't optional — it's essential.

  • No Winter Kill-Off — Ever Florida's warm, humid climate means pest populations never die off seasonally. Insects breed and thrive 365 days a year, maintaining constant pressure on your home with zero relief between seasons.
  • Heavy Rainfall Feeds Populations Florida averages 54 inches of rain per year. Every storm event creates new standing water breeding grounds and drives pests — especially roaches, ants, and rodents — to seek higher, drier ground inside your home.
  • Florida's Pest List Is Unique Palmetto bugs, ghost ants, whitefoot ants, fire ants, subterranean termites, German roaches, Norway rats — Florida hosts pests you won't find in most of the country. Many require specialized treatment protocols and product rotations.
  • Neighbors & Surrounding Areas Repopulate Even after a thorough treatment, new pest populations migrate in from neighboring properties, wooded lots, retention ponds, and green spaces constantly. Your home's barrier needs to be active and replenished to intercept these new waves.
  • Treatments Wear Off — The Barrier Degrades Even the best pesticide barriers break down over time from sun, rain, and heat. Without regular replenishment, the protection diminishes and gaps form, letting pests through right where you thought you were covered.
  • Florida Construction Creates Entry Points Slab foundations, stucco walls, and Florida-style ventilation gaps create dozens of potential entry points for insects and rodents. Ongoing treatment seals and monitors these vulnerabilities before an infestation takes hold — far cheaper than treating an established one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our general pest control service.

Every treatment covers your entire property — interior, exterior, and yard. Inside, we treat baseboards, entry points, under appliances, under sinks, cabinets, bathrooms, and any visible pest activity. Outside, we create a perimeter barrier around your foundation, treat eaves, soffits, window frames, and doorways, and perform cobweb removal. In the yard, we apply granular and broadcast treatments targeting fire ants, fleas, ticks, and other lawn pests. Product selection is tailored to what we find at your specific home.
For most Florida homes, monthly treatment is ideal. The warm, humid climate means pest pressure never stops — populations breed year-round and new pests constantly migrate in from surrounding areas. Monthly treatments keep your barrier strong and replenished so there are never gaps in protection. For homes with minimal pest history, newer construction, or in lower-pressure environments, bi-monthly (every 60 days) may be sufficient. We'll assess your property and make a recommendation based on what we see.
Yes. We use only EPA-approved, professional-grade products that are specifically formulated to be safe for families, children, and pets when applied correctly. We'll let you know if any areas need brief dry time before re-entry — typically 20 to 30 minutes for treated interior surfaces. The products we use are the same ones trusted by pest control professionals across the country. We also offer organic product options for customers who prefer a fully natural approach — just let us know.
Just call us. We'll come back out at no additional charge — that's what our unlimited free touch-up policy means. If you see a cockroach, a line of ants, a wasp nest, or any other pest between your scheduled visits, we return and retreat the problem area. No fees, no questions, no hassle. This is one of our biggest differentiators — we don't charge extra for doing the job right.
We do offer one-time treatments, but we're upfront with our customers: in Florida's climate, one-time applications typically wear off within 30 to 60 days, and pests will return — often from neighboring properties or nearby green spaces. A recurring plan keeps your protection active year-round and is significantly more cost-effective than treating repeated infestations. If you're not sure which is right for you, give us a call and we'll talk you through the best option for your situation.
